an update

eldest daughter earned another 4.o at college and another $8000 scholarship for each of last 2 years

my other daughter has finished 12 grade–and I am done homeschooling–she had completed 3 on-line college course already–but her plans to go away to school have hit a hiccup–in March she had a seizure–has been free from them since –but I am keeping her close till next year–she will do college online for the fall semester at community college (because she can not drive cause of the seizure till Sept.) and then do the winter semester at the college and then transfer for her 2nd year to the college she was suppose to go to

another one

there has been another death of a 17 year old–due to a car accident –which was caused by driving too fast–both my girls know knew this boy–such a sad thing–

taxes and stuff

I had our taxes done–we are getting a rebate

My eldest who is at college has a nasty cold

my 17 year old daughter sideswiped a car in a parking lot–there was minor damage–she called me but dealt with the cop and the owner of the other car before I got there–the cop said that most kids her age would of just driven off–she was upset, but stayed calm–

I am looking for a part time job–now in the last year I could of had 4 different part time jobs-(not at the same time)–hubby gave me a hard time about them–and I knew that I would not of had any help at home–and I am still homeschooling a child–yes she is in a college class–but we still have other subjects to cover till the end of the school year–and so I did not take them–then the other day he comes to me-like every body else–money is tight–and tells me about a job–it is full time –the drive is 1 and 1/2 hour one way–yes the money is good–but I would be away from the house 10-11 hours a day–with no help at home–if I am going to take that job–it would be after my daughters and I find a place down there –and leave him in the dust–needless to say I am in the hunt for a part time job–for now–one I want–when my 17 year old is older–then I will find a ful time job–with just me in mind

of course there is going to be snow

I had made plans for tomorrow–to meet a friend for lunch–at a place about an hour north of where I live–but 6-8 inches of snow will be dropping  here overnight–so instead of eating lots of yummy food, I am going to be stuck in the house with a daughter who is pmsing big time and a grumpy husband–I plan on locking my self in my room and reading and just coming out for tea and bath room breaks–wish me luck

watching the eagles blow it–as an eagle fan–you get use this

finished packing up all of Rachel’s things to go back to college–we need 2 cars to haul it all down–

I had a surprise b-day party for the grandmother type lady of my girls–she is 84–lots of food and chocolate cake with peanut butter iceing–good but not good for me

plan on hitting the treadmill and eating well for the next 1000 years (well at least until tomorrow)

then job hunting–I could kick myself for not taking the 3 part time jobs that were offered to me a few months back–hubby said wait till   2009-so as not to mess with Rachel’s financial aid–now of course the jobs are taken–last time I do not do what is best for me

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.

lunch was chicken Alfredo –great food for a snowy day
went to shovel and slipped on ice that was still hanging around
I had a special night planned for last night (I know –I never give up) both of my girls were gone–one for the weekend–the other was at work till ten–but hubby went out with friends–so he got home right around the same time my daughter got home from work–he still thought he was going to get sex–(he knew that the girls would not be home and his plans were made last minute)–well he was out of luck–spent the evening taking things into my own hand and reading —–so he said we could do the “special night ” tonight–but with the snow my daughter is not going into work–he wanted her to walk to a her friends house in this slop–so we could be alone– I told him to forget it–he also has some paper work he needs to get done–I told him not to count on me–I plan on dyeing my hair and watching football–it is good training for him–I am planning on getting a part time job now that my youngest is taking college classes that are offered to high-school students–so my homeschooling work is done–and if I am working outside the house–there will be changes –he will have to take care of his paperwork himself–O and he does not get my paycheck just handed over to him–those days are long gone ( that is what happened when I worked before–but he was different then–we worked together–it was not all about him)

All of the presents are wrapped–all the plans have been finalized–cookies and sweets are made

the weather is suppose to warm up–hopefully hit 25 degrees

I have to hit walmart just for regular food and then afterwards drop off

presents  at some people’s house

one of our cars was hit in the back bumper–hit and run

the other car’s front window was cracked by a group of 4 wheelers kicking up stone from the ally when they went flying by my house at a very high rate of speed–yea–more places to spend money

her boyfriend wants to live on my couch–he lives about 2 hours from us–they hate to be parted for the break from college

other daughter is pushing the limits–here we go again–I hate senior year in high school

most of the Christmas shopping is done–just some music downloads(legal) and one more trip up to the mall that is about an hour  from here–it is a tradition–hit the sam’s club there–for hot dogs

we are suppose to get snow–o well it is winter
